A worker-owned, feminist activist center and bookstore serving the Lower East Side, Bluestockings often hosts mission oriented book events. Run as a cooperative and community center, the store features other programming besides books. The shop also sells zines on consignment. In November of 2020, the store relocated from 172 Allen Street to its current location.
