Greenlight Bookstore operates a flagship location in Fort Greene. It has cultivated an intimate relationship with the Brooklyn literary community often hosting annual events like the OneStory First Novel reading as well as frequently hosting author book launches. The store also has been home to the Greenlight Poetry Salon, a series dedicated to poetry. New book launches are regularly held in the space. The
The space used for events is at the front of the front of the store. There is no partition separating the shop from events spaces. For events, the book tables are pushed around to make space for chairs.

Prospect Lefferts
The second store opened in 2016 to serve the Prospect Lefferts neighborhood occupying a retail space in a controversial apartment tower. The store has a large selection of children’s books and a wide space for events, although like the Fort Greene Store, there is no partition between the store and the event space.
