McNally Jackson Bookstores

McNally Jackson is a local New York City mini-chain hosting events at two locations in Manhattan and a third in Brooklyn. The events at the stores are a combination of author launch events and recurring reading series. The owners also operate high-end stationary stores in Manhattan.

Events at all locations are listed on their website.

Prince Street

The Prince Street location regularly hosts authors for book launches and several recurring reading series. The busiest of the locations, there have been as many as three events in a single night, with back to back events. Most events take place in the basement level — down a set of stairs. The downstairs area one of the larger fully-seated audience areas in the city’s bookstores. However, the store also hosts events in the upstairs cafe which is generally accessible albeit allowing less room for audience.
