Literary Event Venues

The first step in hosting a literary event is finding a location. The space often dictates many aspects of events. Outdoor venues will create different challenges from indoor ones; bars and restaurants are different from bookstores; unconventional locations will differ from community spaces designed for public events. Hosts and curators should be aware of the needs of their readers including audio equipment, accessibility requirements, and selling books on their behalf.
